TORONTO-CALCUTTA FOUNDATION TO THE RESCUE

Toronto Calcutta Foundation has repaired and rebuilt 25 homes badly damaged or destroyed by cyclone Amphan that wreaked havoc in West Bengal and Odisha in India, and in Bangaldesh in May last year.

These homes in Hotar near Kolkata, provided much-needed assistance to families displaced by the cyclone.

TCF’s other activities continue with two new coaching centres – one in Kolkata and the second in Bolpur – for 105 children aged 5 to 16. Bolpur will also have a girls soccer team.
