Award-winning media professional Annie Koshy is a recognized multi-talented media and events personality, model, photographer, motivational speaker and emcee. Her work is well-received within the arts, media and events arena.

Her company, GTA South Asian Media Network, has gained a reputation for cultivating opportunities for those in the arts and entertainment industries. 

As a published model with one of the city’s premier modelling agencies, Annie has garnered mainstream international attention. Most recently, she was featured in a lead role in a short film and a music video, both in the post-production stage.  As a radio jockey, she can be heard every weekend on Suaga 960 AM, on Terry’s Drive-In 960AM with host Terry Rakhra, where they engage in conversation about people, events and happenings.

Currently: I’m hosting several summer festivals, modelling, working as a radio jockey, and most anxiously awaiting the release of some recent projects that are in post-production!

Favourite designer: Dinesh K Ramsay. I love his Indo-Canadian fusion-wear that allows my personality to shine.

Favourite Bollywood star: Vidya Balan.

Favourite Hollywood star: Meryl Streep.

Favourite movie: Bohemian Rhapsody.

Favourite singer: Freddie Mercury.

Favourite song: Bohemian Rhapsody.

Favourite TV show: House of Cards.

Favourite ice cream flavour: Rum and raisin.

Favourite cuisine: Asian or Italian.

Favourite restaurant: Aria Bistro and Lounge.

Favourite sport: Table tennis.

Favourite sportsperson: Muhammad Ali.

Favourite book: The Odyssey by Homer.

Favourite activity: Photography.

I hang out: Where there is music, art or nature.

I’m freaked out by: Snakes and spiders.

I need: My glasses!

I want to be: Remembered for making a difference in this world.

My role model: Audrey Hepburn, who besides being absolutely gorgeous and an amazing actress, was a classy lady and humanitarian who worked tirelessly with UNICEF.

Tips to save the planet: Use reusable water bottles and reduce your plastic footprint.

In a perfect world: We would live in harmony with others, free of rudeness, judgement and hostility. Instead, we would propagate a culture of peace, tolerance for differences and a respect for others, especially the creatures that share this beautiful planet.
