Get ready for the holidays with these seasonal favourites! Brampton Library’s popular 12 Days of Creativity programs are back. Learn how to make holiday cards, gift tags and stickers, wrapping paper, ornaments, collages, and paper wreaths. Pop into our makerspaces for free use of our 3D printers, vinyl cutters, and button makers for your personal projects.  IF you’re new to Brampton, hop on the Newcomer Bus Tour and enjoy the holiday lights.

Holiday Card Extravaganza at Four Corners on Saturday, December 2, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

DIY Gift Tags and Stickers at Mount Pleasant Village on Monday, December 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Wrap It Up with Wow: DIY Wrapping Paper with Visual Arts, Brampton at Four Corners on Wednesday, December 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Ornamentation Station: Create Your Own Keepsakes at Gore Meadows on Friday, December 8, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.

Collaging Cheerful Gifts with Megha at Four Corners on Sunday, December 10 from 1:30 from 4 pm.

Paper Wreaths: Deck the Walls at South West on Tuesday, December 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

EXPLORE BRAMPTON ON NEWCOMER BUS TOUR

Seats are filling fast for the Newcomer Bus Tour, departing from Springdale Branch Library on Tuesday, December 5 at 10 a.m. and Thursday, December 7 at 7 p.m. Register here! 

Who: Newcomer Bus Tours are suitable for all ages and facilitated in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, in partnership with Brampton Multicultural Centre (BMC). If you arrived in Brampton after January 1, 2020, you are eligible to take this free tour!

When:

o  Tuesday, December 5, 2023: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

o  Thursday, December 7: 6 – 9 p.m.

Where: Both tours depart from Brampton Library’s Springdale branch at 10705 Bramalea Road.

Why:  To learn more about Brampton, the tours include parks, hospitals, community centres, transportation hubs, City Hall and Gage Park with beautiful seasonal lights, Library branches, and more. Arrive early to get a free Brampton Library card!

What: Held in proud partnership with Brampton Transit and generously sponsored by Toronto Pearson, the Newcomer Bus Tour was recognized with the Angus Mowat Award for Excellence in Public Library Service, the American Public Library Association Upstart Innovation Award, and an award from The Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA)
