HELPING HANDS EXTEND ALL THE WAY FROM TORONTO TO CALCUTTA

 A blanket distribution was organized by the Toronto Calcutta Foundation (TCF) recently for disadvantaged elderly people in Ghughumari, Cooch Behar, India. Another distribution drive provided feminine hygiene products to women at Naktala Clinic, Ghutiari Sarif School  and TCF’s sewing school, Uttaran.

Unable to hold their two annual fundraising events due to COVID restrictions – the annual gala dinner and the talent show bring in close to $80,000 – TCF has been running these recent programs in deficit. Generous supporters and funds held over from previous events for such contingencies helped fill the gaps.
