About Mrs Krishnan’s Party: TO Live presents Mrs Krishnan’s Party, an Indian Ink Theatre Company production. Step into the backroom of a convenience store where garlands decorate the ceiling, music flows, and Mrs Krishnan is throwing a party like no other.
A delightfully immersive experience, Mrs Krishnan's Party is a brilliant mix of improvisation, script, and pure comedic talent combining in a celebration of the southern Indian harvest festival of Onam.
Written by Jacob Rajan and Justin Lewis, directed by Justin Lewis, and starring Kalyani Nagarajan and Jacob Rajan, Mrs Krishnan’s Party will have you laughing from the moment you arrive while the subtle themes of the show hide a deeper message, prompting audiences to consider the true meaning of family, life’s purpose, and grappling with change.
Watch the actors juggle cooking, music, and guests as food simmers on the stove, laughter abounds, and strangers become friends in an unfolding drama where no two nights of the show are the same.
