TeenTalks Event. Thursday, November 3: 6 -7:30 pm at Chinguacousy Branch Library. Have you been watching our TeenTalk video series? If not, watch our Brampton Library Teen Volunteers talk about things they’re passionate about in the TeenTalks: TeenTober edition series, and then come out on November 3 to meet the speakers, discuss their videos, and share ideas.

Write It Workshop. November 5, 19, 26: 10:30 -11:30 a.m. Mount Pleasant Village Branch Library. The program focuses on improving the writing skills of children through fun, interactive activities by which participants are encouraged to find their voice and gain confidence in their choices as a writer. Each student receives a certificate upon completion. This program is presented in partnership with the Ripple Foundation. Grades 4–8.

Genealogy Series: Diaspora Heritage Workshop. November 10, 10 am to12 noon. Springdale Branch Library. In the second session of this two-part series, participants will explore ways to collect, preserve, and share heritage materials through instruction by the Sikh National Archives. Building Self-Confidence in the Workplace. November 16: 1-2:30 p.m. Virtual. Learn and share ideas about self-confidence in the workplace in this fun, interactive workshop. This is a Library Settlement Partnerships program, held in partnership with Achev and the Brampton Multicultural Community Centre (BMC). Registration is required.
