Through The Mirror is available on Amazon, Google Play, iBookstore, and Overdrive.

Name: Tvisha Lakhani. Tvisha means bright and illuminated.

Currently: I am in grade 8. I was in grade 7 when I became a published author!  When I saw the poster for the Kids Write 4 Kids contest at a Brampton Library Branch, I’d immediately known I wanted to enter because I love writing stories. I won the contest and my story, Through the Mirror, is now a published book.

Favourite colour: Ice blue.

Favourite outfit: I usually spend the day in casual t-shirts and leggings.

Favourite movie star: I watch a lot of movies (too many, maybe), but I don’t really pay attention to which actor is in the movie, so I don’t have any favourite movie stars.

Favourite movie: There are so many amazing movies, I can’t choose from them!

Favourite singer: My parents (especially my dad) love old Hindi movies and songs so one of my favourite singers is definitely Lata Mangeshkar.

Favourite song: I’ve learned this small piece on the violin called Minuet 3 and it’s one of my favourites.

Favourite TV show: Tenali Rama.

Favourite ice cream flavour: Chocolate, though I once read somewhere that the only people who like chocolate are the ones who don’t want to admit that they’re vanilla people.

Favourite dish: Pav Bhaji is and always will be one of my all-time favourite dishes.

Favourite restaurant: Annalakshmi, it has the best dosas.

Favourite sport: Badminton.

Favourite sportsperson: While I love playing sports, I don’t really watch any so I don’t have a favourite sportsperson.

Favourite books: The Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger is by far my favourite.

Favourite activity: Reading books, playing the violin, etc.

I hang out: With my sister a lot. Most of that time includes the two of us arguing over what to do when we’re bored, but that’s another story.

I’m freaked out by: One word, spiders.

I want to: Improve my writing skills by writing more books.

My role models: My parents.

Tips to save the planet: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
