THE COST OF FREEDOM: REFUGEE JOURNALISTS IN CANADA

The Seagull Cultural Forum is organizing a screening of the documentary The Cost of Freedom: Refugee Journalists in Canada by James Collingham as part of the Newmarket Culture Days program.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director, writers and journalists whose experiences the film covers: Luis Najero from Mexico, Abdulrahman Matar from Syria and Arzu Yildiz from Turkey.

When and where: Sunday, October 6, 4:30-6:30 pm at the New Roads Performing Arts Centre, Newmarket. Free.
