A SON’S PLEA TO SAVE HIS MOTHER

When cancer strikes…Dion Carvalho, then and now.

My name is David and my mother needs your help.

My mother Dion Carvalho who is 57 years of age was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer in June 2020. She is currently residing in Sri Lanka and has undergone 26 sessions of chemotherapy since. The current situation Sri Lanka ha unfortunately led her situation to worsen and her doctor has advised her that nothing can be done at this point.

We have since reached out to doctors in Chennai, India, who say they are able to help her. After all the sessions she has endured, using our personal funds, we have finally reached a point where we can no longer bear the financial burden.

Our mother is a beautiful, kind hearted person. She is a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother of two little ones and she has a lot to live for.

We are making all possible efforts to raise funds so she can undergo chemotherapy in India as we are confident that their medical team will do everything they can to give her a fighting chance.

The cost is steep: Upwards of $30,000.
